FAQ – The things we get asked the most about


We’ve tried to answer some of the most common questions that we get asked each day. It’s by no means an answer to everything so we encourage you to give us a quick call if you think of anything you would like to ask.   Colour work can be detailed and involved so we recommend you take advantage of a complimentary colour consultation before your appointment date, or even before you make an appointment.   We are here to help and ensure we give you the best possible result.

Rebooking your next appointment on completion of your service generally ensures that your chosen stylist and appointment time are available. We strongly recommend re-booking as we do fill up our appointment book pretty quickly.
We understand that there will be times when you are unable to keep your appointment. We ask that you try to give us 24 hours notice that you need to cancel and re-schedule. This allows us time to book others who may be waiting into your time slot, but most importantly it allows us to make sure we can re-schedule you into a time that is convenient for you.
The services that you require have had time set aside especially for you. We require the allocated time to complete the service to your expectation. If you are late it will limit the amount of time we can spend with you, so as not to delay the next client who may have arrived at their pre arranged appointment time.
It is important to the smooth running of the salon that we are able to re-confirm your appointment. We will give you a courtesy phone reminder or send you an SMS message 24 hours prior to your appointment. If you receive an SMS reminder, simply hit reply and send back the letter A to re-confirm.
Please feel free to change stylists within the salon at your convenience. We recommend that you utilise the services of two or three stylists so that you feel confident in the skills that each has to offer. We understand that you may feel like a change every so often and we support and encourage your decision.
Most of the immediate on-street parking is half hour and patrolled by council rangers. There is two hour parking in the car park in front of the council library (on the eastern side of Port Hacking Road), and there are many more two hour parking bays opposite, next to the medical centre which is on the western side of Port Hacking Road at the end of the row of shops in which the salon is located. If you do not mind a short two minute walk, there are two very large car parks on the other side of the Kingsway, off Mackay Street. We recommend that you try to arrive ten minutes prior to your appointment time. This will allow you time to settle and relax while we prepare you a coffee, tea or cool drink ahead of your appointment commencing.
We offer a 20% discount off all service for clients under the age of 20. We also offer a complimentary fringe cut at any time – no appointment is necessary.
